23rd February 2003 Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: S, SW Wind Stength: 10-20 mph Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 13 Sea Temperature: cold (ice yesterday) Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: My first diary entree, Arrived at Brogborough at about 11am wind was about 15 mph and building, still big kit weather though. Got all rigged up with 8.5 and techno had a well powered up blast down the lake done a dry gybe blasted back, then the wind dropped. Wind was up and dowm most of the day so lots of slogging up wind and pumping was the order of the day was nice to be out in the sun though(probaly would of stayed home if it was raining). Had a bit of moment at one point when the wind was up was blasting nicey when my front strap came unscrewed didn't get wanged round the front but it was an OH S**T moment. lets hope theres a bit more wind next weekend |
